Hi everyone! I have been challenging myself to make birthday cards for my extended family. I'm about 50% successful right now. But, hey, I'm trying! :) So, I was deciding what kind of card to make for an aunt by browsing the cricut board. I decided to finally give in and make an easel card. They are super easy to make and look pretty nifty.
As a bonus I was able to participate in this weeks Gypsy Board challenge, Get Real. We had to use the real dial feature and unlock the aspect ratio. Since the original cut is rectangular, I used the real dial feature and made it square. This card was very quick to make. I spent longer putting on all those pearls than I did designing and cutting my card!
I think I'm going to cut a bunch of these and leave them blank. This style and cut can be used for so many occasions. Thanks for stopping by today!

ETA: I have had requests to include what cartridges I used. I used Lyrical Letters for the plant and Create a Critter for the scallop oval.

I love the color choices that you used and the pearls on the scalloped oval! :-)
What a cute card! I love your goal for making cards for your relatives. I remember about needing a card about 30 seconds before I need to give one!!
Looking forward to your creations on thebugbytes!
